The latest enhancements in Huntington's entire ATM network provide customers with greater security, speed, and flexibility.
FREMONT, CA: Huntington announces that it is upgrading its whole network's software and replacing 400 machines by the end of the year. The upgraded ATMs will function on state-of-the-art Hyosung MoniPlus2S software, which offers faster transactions and improved customer security. The newly equipped Hyosung ATMs also will enable customers to choose bills in denominations of $1, $5, $20, or $50. Huntington has 1,330 ATMs throughout its seven-state Midwest footprint as of the third quarter of 2020.

This ATM upgrade sets the foundation for future enhancements with tap-and-go authentication through an ATM card or mobile application. And because the Hyosung software runs on ATMs from multiple manufacturers, Huntington customers will benefit from a consistent experience regardless of their location. The ATM upgrade is recent of several recent products and services Huntington has offered to help consumers and businesses enhance their financial well-being. It includes 24-Hour Grace for Business, the first and only service of its kind that provides additional time to cover overdrafts on managing accounts, no overdraft fee $50 Safety ZoneSM to further help customers manage their long-term financial health, Huntington Lift Local Business, a new $25 million, small-business lending program, and Money Scout, an automatic savings tool that scans customers' accounts and looks out for money they can set aside.
